Justice recommends revoking 20 counterfeit real estate items worth more than 28 billion dinars

The Ministry of Justice has announced the recommendation to cancel 20 counterfeit real estate assets belonging to the state and citizens with a value of more than 28 billion dinars in 2017.

The Ministry of Justice Inspector-General Hassan Hamoud al-Ukaili said in a statement that 17 state-owned drugs had been ordered to cancel their registration, Accompanied by procedures for the transfer of ownership illegally, indicating that the value of those properties exceeded 28 billion dinars.

The Inspector-General added that the real estate recommended to be revoked as a result of the eviction and ownership of the citizens amounted to three restrictions of 511 million dinars.

Al-Ukaili pointed out to the recommendation of the concerned parties to review the competent courts in order to issue judicial decisions invalidating the registration, which acquired the final form, noting at the same time that revocation of registration of properties that did not acquire the final form registration shall be by a decision of the Minister in accordance with the powers granted to him in the law of real estate registration.

Al-Ukaili said that one of the most important reasons for falsification in real estate registration transactions is the use of paper routines in the completion of transactions, especially transfer of ownership, stressing that the transformation to automate the procedures of real estate registration and completion of what was planned by the ministry is necessary to get rid of routines and manipulation of official papers and the State property and citizens.
