The Al-Rusafa Criminal Court, which specializes in cases of integrity, issued a seven-year sentence on Thursday for the assistant director-general of Iraqi Airways for corruption charges.
In a statement, the Supreme Judicial Council's spokesman, Judge Abdul Sattar Birqdar, said in a statement that the case of the assistant director general of the Iraqi Airways, Sadiq al-Mayahi, accused of a crime, requested bribes from one of the owners of Arab companies.
