Iraqi minister sets a reason to reduce the share of Kurdistan by the budget of 2018

Editor Mustafa Saad - Thursday 9 November

Alsumaria News / Baghdad
identified the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs and Acting Minister of Industry, Mohammad Xiaa Sudanese, Thursday, a reason to reduce the share of the territory of Kurdistan in the federal budget for 2018, as pointed out that the results of a referendum by virtue of the region has become obsolete.

Sudan said in an interview with the channel " Russia Today ", " The government has decided to reduce the share of the Kurdistan region from 17% to 12.6% of the general budget of the country, because of manipulation by the local authority in the region numbers of staff and members of the security."

He added that "the results of the referendum in the Kurdistan region, has become obsolete, and required by the local authority in the region is to declare its commitment to the decision of the Federal Court."

On November 6, 2017, the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) considered a draft budget law 2018 aimed at "marginalizing the constitutional entity" of the region, while it showed that 12.6% "is not enough to pay the salaries of one province."
