Central Bank of Iraq, announced the sale of more than $ 148 million, an auction sale of foreign currency in the current second day of the week, the same quantity sold yesterday.

The bank said in a press release on Monday, said that the size of the amount sold today reached 148 million, 425 thousand, and $ 67, priced at 1182 dinars to the dollar exchange rate, with the participation of 32 banks and 15 financial transfer company.

The bank pointed out that the amount of remittances amounted to 55 million and 118 thousand and $ 100 in credits amounted to 69 million and 996 thousand and $ 967, while the quantity sold was 23 million in cash and 310,000 dollars.

The statement pointed out that the sale amounts transferred to accounts in banks abroad be priced at 1190 dinars per dollar, and the cash sales price shall be the price of 1182 dinars per dollar.

The bank, had announced earlier, the decline of Iraq's foreign exchange reserves to $ 50 billion, attributing the reasons for the decrease to the budget and the fall in oil revenue deficit.

And experiencing the local market fluctuation in the dollar's exchange rate against the dinar and instability at a specific price, as the price of $ 100 reached more than 131,000 dinars in the past few weeks, while the price of $ 100 at the present time is more than 130,000 dinars.
