I was sent a long email and will break down the highlights. this was all put in the Obama care bill. starting in 2017 they want to increase 237  dollars a month. number 2 after age  of 76 your benefits will drop  big time. number 3 over 75 you will only be admitted to a hospital by your  primary doctor for medicare. number4 emergency room will be treated as an out pacient and not will be covered. number5 at 76  if you get cancer you will not be covered for treatment. the health care bill is#hb3200. judge kithal has reviewed this to be correct, this info can be found on the following pages in the bill. 58 59 164 241 to 253 272 317 to 321  425 to 429. think about this for yourself or your parents. in either case we are screwed. please pass this on before its too latethere is much more in this bill.

That is not even the correct bill number for the ACA. The correct bill number for the house version is H.R. 3590. THAT bill was passed and became Public Law 111-148 on 3/23/2010.

NONE of those things are included in the law, and I say that as a professional specializing in Medicare.

And I, among other things, am a current state licensed Life and Heath Insurance agent and have been for the last eight years...  So to quote the infamous Hillary "What difference does it make?"

BTW, in HR3200, pgs 58-59 are part of a section that deals with concurrent review of ongoing care, nothing new there. 164 is part of a section dealing with Medicaid for infants and children. Page 241 is part of the Table of Contents for the section dealing with Title IV (Medicare). 243 to 253 deals with Physician's fees and their calculation. 272 is a part of the section dealing with resource based feedback for physicians, again utilization review. I could go on, but it's really a moot point since the bill was never even brought to a vote in the house.

Ditto, I just happen to have chosen to focus primarily on Medicare. Don't want anything to do with the nightmare they call an exchange here in VT.

Oh yes I was licensed in VT for a while (non resident)  May still be not sure.. I was licensed in 15 states from coast to coast...

I stick to Vermont ... Thought about MA, NH and NY, but too many hoops to jump through NH is age rated, NY varies from country to country, and MA ... well they're MA ....

So true... Not active anymore but I keep my Texas license active..... It was too hard to get if you know what I mean..... I swear that was the only time I was requested to not only empty my pockets but take of my wedding ring as well before entering the test area...

Yea, same in VT ... crazy. I half expected them to frisk me. Then they had video cameras at every station ... give me a break!

While I did not make 100% on my first attempt but I gratefully accepted the 88% grade and my licensed and at that time made a vow to never let my license expire or my continual  educational requirements to lapse as well...
