Another Bank Story BofA

I was visiting with my bank manager today, just chit chatting in her office while we waited for the banker I was there to see came back from lunch. We talking about better eating habits and I just decided while she was not being so professional to pop the question...lol.

I asked her, "so I hear the Iraqi Dinar is close to revaluing...would it be best to come straight in to you to exchange, or can they handle that at the counter?" She responded "Well we just had a conference call last week about that. It looks as we are not one of the local branches selected to handle that, but I know the manager over at the Chase next door and they are ready to do exchanges".

WOW it was all I could do to keep my chin up off the floor!! This is from a branch that friends have already talked to and they were very unresponsive except to say it was a risk not worth taking!!

Was the bank manager you were chit chatting with also from a Chase Bank or a different bank all together? So is the neighbor bank she refereed to, the closest location to them that will be doing cash-ins?

Just curious if it's Chase Bank all the way around or different banks?

Bank Manager was BofA...we were sitting in her office. That Chase is the closest one and she knows the manager personally. I am not sure if ALL Chase banks will be a part. She said that only Select BofA would though.

BNICE, yeah it seems that some Chase Banks here will cash-in people & some will not! Odd to hear that a BofA Bank that's not cashing people in....odd. But nothing normal about this RV anyways. lol Thanks for info:)

I have never heard anything about Citi Bank in these rooms just BofA-- WF and Chase. Can anybody shed any light on Citi

For a bank to choose a few select few branhes to do Foreign Currency is not new.

Just check Wells Fargo website and witha few clicks have the location(s) near you that handle it now, assuming that the company line is bs and they will be cashing in IQD in due time. They are doing dong still today.
