The Ministry of Communications, on Thursday, on the implementation of a project to secure the border with Syria through the network cameras to prevent the infiltration of militants.

He said the Minister of Communications, Hassan Rashed, "There is a project of several stages carried out by a French company to secure the Iraqi-Syrian border through a network of cameras installed, to prevent the infiltration of insurgents.

"The Minister that there is a similar project in Baghdad, for the installation of cameras in the squares and major areas, in order to improve the security situation.

The Iraqi border with Syria length of 605 km and is mostly land desert. 

waging an international coalition, led by the United States, air strikes sites for "Daash", which controls large areas in neighboring Iraq and Syria.
