The cap was explained in USD at either $500 mill or $1 bill.

That's $500 million after the exchange of trillion to it. Your take away cannot exceed maybe that amount. To reach that amount you'd probably need quaddrillions of zim to do it. I am thinking with a contract rate of say .33 per zim $500 trillion relates to $500 million minus six zeros and that is about $165 million take home before taxes. I may be wrong.

Last known, the Zim was at 11-22 cents per ZIM...so, if you have a 100 Trillion note and you take off 6 zeros you have 100 Million Zim..multiply that by say the 11 cents, that gives you $11,000,000 (11 Million) per 100 Trillion Note. You would need just over 45 of those 100 Trillion notes to reach 500 million USD.

So, if you use this formula (use the lower exchange rate so be safe) and assume there will be a cap on the ZIM of $500 Million USD after exchange, you can only have 45 of the 100 Trillion notes of ZIM before you would have to have a disbursement over 50-100 years.

Obviously, if the rate is higher than 11 cents for exchange and the cap is a Billion USD after exchange...you can do your own formula. We just won't know for sure until and IF Tony can tell us what's what or the exchanger will let us know. Just remember to keep cool, calm and collected......

I understand the take away from exchange is 500 million... anything over that is paid out as an annuity over 20-100 years.

I still have trouble wrapping my head around the idea that a colorful piece of paper which was, at times, used as toilet tissue in Zimbabwe and which I got from Amazon for $35 is going to be worth, conservatively, $11 million. (Good Point! You just now thought of that???)

I think Plan "D" will consist of bring in a team of mental health professionals into TNT to help clean up the mess.

But in the meantime..... Let's keep buying all the toilet paper with the pretty colors!

Thanks Lester, The question was asked of DC when he was doing a call with Tony. DC answered "ALL SERIES 2008 AA NOTES WILL BE EXCHANGEABLE"
Makes sense to me, as this is the only series in which trillion denoms were issued.
ten trill notes are considerably less expensive at this time...just sayin'
