Highlights of Tony's CC. Updated as the call progresses.
Tony: There is no good reason for us to be here today. Only to exchange our currency. You can see the substance, the articles, the people. cutting back on the cabinet. US wants that. IMF wants that. . .
Was supposed to happen over the weekend and didn’t. Banks got memo saying be ready by 6 am. Iraq had meetings into the weekend and were scheduled to pay their people and did not. Parliament in Kurdistan received pay but citizens did not. Kurdistan does things before Baghdad.
Tony: . . . Was supposed to go this weekend. . . You have been hearing that for 33 weeks. I’ve been getting that for five years. No one has the entire plan written out and saying I will give it to you a week at a time. This is a living, breathing organism that goes this way and that. I don’t know the entire process. I can only explain it based on what we are hearing.
I know everyone is frustrated. I know things that happened this weekend they don’t want you to know. You live through hell and I live through hell every day, coming back to do this call. The level this info is coming from is unprecedented. We have people in other countries involved in this process.

CURRENT WINDOW: Tony: Could happen in ten minutes, ten hours, 3 days, but final procedures being laid out to lower levels. When I start getting that kind of info, here we go!
IRAQ: Kurdistan Parliament was paid but the citizens were not. Tony: The Iraqi people have not gotten paid this month. In June they told them they would get paid regularly from now on. Get paid by the 7th. There is a reason they have not gotten paid.

International Rate vs In-country rate: [size=16]Tony: (re:[/size] article about 25K note equaling $75 USD). My reaction is superfantastic because they had that in writing. For 3 -4 years we have been telling you the in-country rate would be $25. . . . will be different than International rate. We have been telling you it’s going over $3.00 and what does $75 mean? $3.00! Finally in writing it will be over $3.00 for you. Should take away all your fear that it will happen. I’d be throwing a party!
Lower Oil Prices: Tony said they could give you $50 for dinar and they are still making money based on the contract.
Banks: memo issued for 6 am this morning. It did not happen.
