Bank of Texas Dong Story

A friend in Texas ordered Dong from her Bank of Texas branch last Wednesday 24th. She was told it would be at the branch on Friday (26th). The bank called her Friday and said it would be Monday (29th). No Dong had arrived by Monday. This morning (31st), the foreign exchange teller called her and told her that they could not get any more Dong. The teller told her that Vietnam was not selling more Dong since "they are about to revalue the Dong."

ordered dong from wells fargo on saturday 27th, just picked it up today

Ordered dong from Dinartrade 2 days ago. No problems.

You are ordering from stock with a dealer. Banks dont keep it in house. They order it in.

Ordered from local bank on 8/19, It arrived today 8/31.

And thats why it took so long. Had you ordered in the last few days and maybe you wouldnt have it right now. I cant say for sure since I havent ordered in a few years but one time they had a long wait to get it in. So who knows. Would be nice if one of these currencies would pop! lol
