Yep, if cryptic means being wrong then that would be correct. I'm actually in Iraq and trust me, nothing is going on right now. Eid is being celebrated and that is it. The real interesting time should come right after when parliament gets back into session.
If somebody has info or intel, there is no reason to make it cryptic.

You are completely correct. I am not saying that they are not being told these things. I'm saying that based on what I see and hear being in Iraq and working with iraqis, it is just simply not true. I have no doubt they have been told many things over the past year/s, however, based on the fruit of that "intel", I'm just pointing out that there is no real reason to believe it. I did not see the whole conversation so maybe he wasn't so cryptic later on. Just an opinion from somebody actually on the ground.

I find it interesting that all these folks who are in Iraq that I have seen post in many forums believe that since they are in Iraq they know everything that is going on. Do those of us in the US know EVERYTHING that is going on here? Or even just in our own states? How about even the town or city you live in? How about even your next door neighbor's house? No one KNOWS everything and to make blanket statements that all intel is basically crap seems sheer foolishness to me.

I don't believe I know nearly everything that's going on in Iraq. That is why I stated that I have to go off of previous history concerning the intel that some gather. I'm invested so I have a great interest in seeing this RV and getting out of here, however, that doesn't mean that I can't use my knowledge from talking with locals and what I'm seeing to relate another possibility that others may not know about. Hence, why I stated that I am not doubting that someone was told a specific piece of information. I was merely trying to add my 2 cents from Iraq so that others could make a more educated picture of the actual situation without trying to decipher some cracker jack encoded message. Based on my track record, I haven't been proven wrong yet so I thought others may want more input to add to their knowledge.

Thank you for some TRUE information. We don't get much of that here in the states. I find it really amusing that some choose to believe their dreams but not believe the TRUTH. The RV has not happened yet and no one knows when it will but when it does we will all know it at the same time.

Did it go through or not and when can we cash in... Let's stop with all of these metaphors, cryptic/coy words etc.

Did it RV so we can cash in? That's the only thing we need to know... NUFF SAID

If it didn't go through (whatever that means) then Okie should say, "sorry guys it didn't go through as I was told" or Okie could say, there are a few hang ups... but let's stop with all of this cloak and dagger stuff.

I'm looking for some clear understandable words which I guess hasn't been given out yet... My hope is like 99% of the people who read these postings... to get some information which is clear and definitive...

Thanks for the input Milleriniraq. You are there, so you would know. Question for you: Did you or anyone ever see the $4.40 rate taped to all the bank windows that Okie was raving about 2-4 weeks back? My guess is no, but would like your input, because Okie was pretty high on that being confirmed. I believe it all went not taped to the window, but out the window.

We always here the rate....and it changes time after time...like said earlier that I agree is when are we going to cash in. Because all the news that is out there saying that everything is done....I mean....Why isn' this public news i.e. on the news like CNN or MSNBC or such. We have been reading from many saying it is done....but month after month we are still waiting. WOW! so is it or isn't going to happen. I believe in this investment but this sure is frustrating. I mean it is really frustrating to here same stories over and over. Something always happen and that is why we haven't RV according to many people. Basically is it don or not. The main question is when do we cash in or is it really going to happen.

I am amazed that people come to a free internet site - which has been set up in order to benefit anyone who wants the opportunity to read it - and then gripe, criticize and complain because the people who are providing the service by sharing information are not able to make an RV materialize.

Folks, no one is making you read the posts or chats here. If you don't like hearing that there was some information exchanged which indicated that we might be close to finally seeing the RV but then finding out later that something shifted and it hasn't happened yet – THEN JUST CHOOSE NOT TO COME READ THE WEBSITE!

This seems like a no-brainer to me. It is entirely within YOUR control whether or not to be here and have some small amount of access to information that you otherwise would not have a chance of knowing on your own. If the information doesn't please you – then simply choose not to keep coming here and reading it!!!

People are feeling edgy, cranky, or downright angry because many really need the RV to have happened by now. But the delay is not the fault of Okie or anyone else who shares information on this site. It shows great disrespect (and not a lot of brains) to blame the people who are sharing what they know. Don't shoot the messenger!

And, by the way, the post which started this thread was an analogy – not some cryptic hidden message. An analogy is a linguistic expression used to transfer meaning from one story to another. In other words – Okie and Bulldog were saying that we are very close to seeing the RV – about as close as we would be to seeing a touchdown if we were on the one yard line with four downs to go and some 400 pound offensive linemen on our team.

Here's my analogy: please consider whether or not you can chill out on the ride before you get on the roller coaster.

If not – just stop reading the online sites. It's that simple.
