Said Finance Committee member Abdul Qader Mohammed The issuance of new editions of the coin fifty thousand class will be designed in accordance with the distinctive techniques by specialists to prevent the possibility of forgery.

Mohammed said that "the new currency will be launched soon in accordance with regulations and modern techniques and under the supervision of specialized technicians and design N fraud," pointing out that "the new currency will compete with other currencies in the internal handling of the Iraqi market."

He explained that "the new currency strength will add liquidity and raise the cash value, as well as it will be an important factor to improve the national economy."

Rasheed Bank and announced near practiced Activity auction of foreign currency in order to strengthen the Iraqi dinar against the dollar, as he emphasized the economic and investment commission parliamentary member of the Charter of Hamdi earlier, the bank printed new financial category worth fifty thousand dinars will be traded soon.

This whole 50K and 100K notes are bothering me. Why would you need large notes for "internal trading"...WTF? People who do business conduct it with electronic means not bags or brief cases of money. question

I believe this means the RV for their currency is a looooong way off. If it was soon they would just chop off the zeros and make it 1:1.

2 things... first they have announced that they will use these for commerce outside of Iraq - likely not for businesses as much as for people who come and go and need Dinar for travel expenses so they can carry less number of notes.
Second, if they intended to RV they would never waste the time, effort, and money to print and distribute these larger 3-zero notes.

1. No your comments don't make any sense. Commerce outside of Iraq? Electronic is used. Not cold hard cash.

2. I've heard that story for many of the new notes of the 25K they have printed. This story is OLD and pumped all over the dinar sites.

All bullcrap you have read somewhere as justification for printing these.

The fact they are printing these large notes means they will never ever revalue them. You just answered your point in your second comment.

You will be waiting light years to see anything happen with this dinar.

It may be in the Iraqi news but everything they post can't be trusted or it's bullshit. Any country doing business (any kind of business or transactions) would not be using actual currency. That's why this whole article and the concept of printing these large notes makes no sense and they are lying to us (everyone) once again.

Most likely it will not RV for a very long time if ever and these large notes will end up n the market within Iraq.

Since when do we take what Iraq says as face value. Never.!!!

I refuse to believe anything Iraq says and have for a very long time.

Of course friends! I have to agree with your assessment though. It really does not make sense about commerce outside of Iraq. It's mostly, if not always, done electronicly so the need for these large bills just does not fit.
That being said, I do believe 100% that the RV is a fiction of many's imagination.
