I HAVE ANOTHER CONTACT IN IRAQ AND THAT’S WHERE THAT INFO CAME FROM. I DO HAVE A CONFERENCE CALL TODAY SOMETIME BETWEEN 1OAM CENTRAL AND 5PM CENTRAL TODAY. THIS WILL BE WITH MY CONTACT WHO HAS A CERTAIN TYPE OF BUSINESS. 2 THINGS HE HAS CONFIRMED HE HAS BEEN TOLD THE IQD WILL BE UP IN VALUE, HE HAS BEEN TOLD HE WILLL BE RECEIVING NEW CURRENCY AND NO LONGER WILL BE USING THE US DOLLAR. TODAY I WILL GET OT TAKE TO HIM PERSONALLY AND ASK HIM THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION HAVE YOU BEEN ISSUED THE “NEW CURRENCY” AND HOW MUCH IS IT WORTH? OKIE, SCOTTIG AND I HAVE BEEN BURNING LETS SOME MIDNIGHT OIL AND HAVE INVESTED A LOT OF TIME AND ENERGY IN THIS RECENTLY. I HEARD A GREAT STORY JUST YESTERDAY ON A LOCAL BANK RECEIVING NOT ONE BUT 3 DELARUE MACHINES. OH BY THE WAY I DO APPRECIATE OKIE COVERING ME THE OTHER NIGHT AND NOT DISCLOSING WHERE THE CALL CAME FROM AND HE DID CALL ONE MORE TIME YESTERDAY AND SAY HE KNOWS FOR A FACT THEY HAVE RV d THEIR CURRENCY BUT HASN’T BEEN RELEASED YET.

Bear, we appreciate what you guys, and gals, do. You had intel, you gave it to Okie, it didn't work out like it was supposed to. Not your fault, not Okie's fault. I don't think that everyone needs to be bashing and trying to dis-prove every thing that is posted on these boards. You intel guys (bear, okie, poppy, bgg, scottie g, and ghost dont forget ghost, and several others work for FREE! People forget that. They did not hire you, they came to you, begging for intel. Yall are kind enough to come on these boards, SPOON FEED US INTEL, and most of you wouldnt take more than a cup of coffee or a cold beer for your troubles.


I guess what I am trying to say is this. THANK YOU TO ALL THE SOURCES, GURUS, MODS, ADMIN, ETC. THAT WORK SO HARD BEHIND THE SCENES TO MAKE SURE WE HAVE SOME TYPE OF KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT IS GOING ON DURING THIS SOON TO BE OVER WITH TRAIN RIDE.

I want to add my thanks as well. If indeed the IQD has been RVd already but is waiting to be released in the banking systems then it should only be a matter of days for us to see this...RIGHT? :o

This statement speaks volumes about both you gentlemen. First, in that Okie would take the bashing for the information that he shared with us, knowing that people would not understand his motivation for having shared it in the first place. Second, that he honors and respects you enough to cover/protect you even to his own personal loss in reputation (especially given that it was on his birthday). Third, that he did this without even considering the cost to himself.

These things, among many others, reflect his integrity. But there is more.

Okie has demonstrated that he has been willing to be vulnerable for the sake of his friends. Of necessity, he must choose those friends carefully. That he has developed that type of relationship with you reveals that you also are a man of integrity (or the relationship wouldn't be there). This has been evidenced by your disclosure of having been his source of intel.

Each of you, by your actions, has revealed your character for others to discern. This also holds true for those that have chosen to bash - by the very nature of their actions, they have exposed themselves to their own discredit. Even so, save for the grace of God we might well do the same. (We have met the enemy and he is us.)
