I have a friend that I exposed this blessing to. Against my information given in detail to ''not go to the Bank'' she when to he local bank last week and spoke to a manager. They said " that's a SCAM don't be fooled'' of course when she called me I reminded her that if all the Bankers released this... the whole system would crash as all the workers exchanged and walked away from their jobs. Here is what she sent me today. ''Mark,By the way! As you know I called the bank last week just cause I was curious on what they would tell me! Or would say! Just getting the feel of things! Interesting as I told you what they said.!!! Yesterday!! I got a phone call from a Canadian Currency Exchange Company asking me if I had any Foreign Currency that I was wanting to Exchange! Asking me what I had! I told them nothing and asked why they were calling!! "" Oh we are just randomly calling people?? """ They mentioned the Dinar & Dong???? The What I said! What is the Dong?? &)^% OH!! I said! What is the other one you mentioned!! The Dinar!! Where is that from!! Iraq!! Iraq??? They said "" But it is not a Currency "" Then why would you ask me if I had something that was not real!! Oh we are just Randomly call people?? Would you say this is interesting??? I do!! Really randomly calling people like a currency exchange center does not have anything better to do than call random people in hopes they may have some currency they want to exchange AND it just so happens that they asked about the 2 currencies that are about to revalue. ????!!!! NOW WHO DOES THAT MAKE SENCE TO????????? Really if some one calls you like that just hang up on them!!!!!!!! Don't become a statistic.

Sounds as if your friend should be cautious! There are a lot of scammers out there - a legit person/group/entity would not be randomly calling people to ask if they had currency. We all hope to hear good news, but again caution is a must.

1st if you can't say something good shut the F^@k up
2nd she knew it was not her Bank and never let them know she had any currency.
3rd the random part was what to consider...of course it wasn't random...but who as it ?...she just spoke with her Bank
4th strangers don't call about currency...as a scam...it's something they can work now...not when and if the RV happens. and yes
THAT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE TO ANYONE
5th Perhaps it was the 12 Man from Seattle calling... trying to get funds back from the bet before the beating they will

Kinda makes you wonder who overheard her initial conversation with the manager at the bank... :-/

Is the bank she visited in Cananda, too? Or just the self-identified "random callers" who phoned her?

I'm sure she's relieved that she didn't reveal any real info (I am, too, on her behalf), but it's hard not to be curious about the rest of their appeal. I wonder what their offer might have been, had she said, "Sure, I've got a bit. What's your rate?" Bank Story #63 Wink
