House Speaker: The Delay In Approving The Budget Is The Continuing Declines In World Oil Prices
11/01/2015 14:55:00
BAGHDAD / NINA / House Speaker Salim al-Jubouri announced that he intended to visit Turkey soon.
Jubouri said in a press conference held today in the House of Representatives: "The visit of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to Egypt today come to confirm opening-up policy by Iraq with various countries," adding that "he would visit Turkey soon in and a continuation of the application of that policy "
He added that the Parliament is going on reading and legislating important laws, and it is a key and important issue concerning the work of the Council and its role. "
He made it clear: "The Parliament began to read the treaties and agreements with the countries of the world, as well the first reading of the law of political parties as an important law for the democratic political process, plus the law of the Federal Court and its second reading , as well as other issues."
He added that there is a clear harmony between the political blocs on the adoption of the budget, but the only problem is the continuing declines in world oil prices, noting that the political blocs have their demands from other parties. "
He said the agreement between the governments of the center and the Kurdistan region is going on properly and will not affect the timing of approving the budget."

Didn't really see anything in this about oil prices.
Crude oil futures were hovering around $46 bbl earlier today, and the general mood is that prices will continue to plummet for the foreseeable future.
You can thank Saudi, Kuwait and Qatar for getting together to price oil so low that it bankrupts US companies pulling oil out of the shale in North Dakota. They are trying to ruin us.
And hey, Iraq. Your money problems? From your brother Arabs.

And still not RV lol wonder how the people following the GURU are not asking the "But you were sooo sure it is done" question. That Cool-Aid must be nice

I will not be surprised to see oil prices drop to the $30/BBL range before things stabilize they may then bump back up to the $50.00 range. Based upon all I have read I think it will level off somewhere around there. Of course I may be all wet ...

Thanks Kevin, for pointing that out.
You aren't all wet. Your oil price scenario is as good as anything else that's running around out there. There are hints, and it may be a bluff, that Saudi is willing to let the price drop and stay $20 bbl for enough time to wipe out the North Dakota shale fields. In any event, Saudi is saying that they do not foresee oil getting back to $100. (Which would make the North Dakota oil fields viable for producing oil again.)
