Kurdistan Parliament is continuing work on an independent Kurdistan Constitution to be completed near term August 2015...and will vote for a referendum for an independent Kurdistan if Baghdad doesn't live up to the agreements and/or doesn't/can't get its s*** together...The Kurd constitution being written WRITES OFF THE USE OF THE IQD AS IT"S OFFICIAL CURRENCY...Also the Kurds have said they had enough of Maliki accusations in the press and the GOI needs to take action immediately against this man who placed Iraq in disaster and continues to hurt the country...There is a lot of chatter in Kurdistan over the CBI and LACK OF in Kurdistan...And...BIG ribbon cutting ceremony in Erbil on Grand Opening of Blom Bank...HUGE...!!

Why hasn't the 2015 budget been presented to Parliament ? Is it declining oil prices and the focus on the amount of the 2015 deficit? Reality is the GOI needs to get the show on the road BUT BUT BUT...If that 2015 Budget hits Parliament and there is a battle/argument/debate over the 17 percent that the Kurdistan region is receiving ...The Kurds are not arguing/debating/ or even sticking around to discuss the subject...GONE-GOODBYE...And Maliki is trying his best to keep his insiders rallied against the Kurds...This is why the Budget has not been in Parliament and this is why Jabouri is in Kirkut today speaking with the Governor...... Basically....Kurds could give a rats a**...they have their agreements and are set...And the international business world is ready to open the doors in Kurdistan.

So what if this supposed Kurd constitution writes of the use of the Iraqi dinar? That means exactly NOTHING with regard to this investment, at least on the face of it.

If anything, consideration might be given to the impact of losing that much territory, those many resources, and the loss of a more stable and functional area from Iraq. Actually, what's left of Iraq as you consider how much ISIS has taken.

No sir! You may wish to consider the impact of what will be left in the country you know as Iraq when all this other territory is gone.

You might be surprised to find out that this isn't good news for our 'blessing.'

It's a bargaining chip/pressure tool on behalf on the part of the Kurds. There is absolutely no guarantee that it will even happen, especially given their current security situation.
