I reside in the Greater Cincinnati Ohio area. I spoke with a senior VP of a Wells Fargo advisory office. I asked about the exchange of foreign currency and explained that I understood that Wells was going to be the lead bank for exchange and got the wind kicked out of me. Their response was that if I was speaking about the Iraq Dinar that I needed to know that it was a major scam and they then read to me from a document that said Wells Fargo does not sell Dinar and will not exchange Dinar and that the personal should be aware that we would tell them that Wells was going to be the lead bank on the exchange and that this was not true. That it was a scam and that I should contact a lawyer. I know that we do not have any Wells banks in this area, however I would think that the Advisory groups would still like to do busness with us after exchange. However if this is the info they are getting you would think at this point they would start to change for the purpose of trying to gain our business UNLESS this is a scam. So if anyone in this area has had a favorable contact with a wealth manager from any bank please let me know. Tony and DC are the exchanges only taking place in Texas? Please address this on your next call as those of us that do not have Wells banks are not able to make contact with anyone. I would also like to tell you that we are getting the same stuff from Chase and 5/3rd. Come on guys Cincinnati is not a smail town.
