Not a Happy Story:

I talked to wealth manger at BOH	Permalink

the waltz manger thought i was crazy, she says the bak won't be involved in any of the exchanges and doesn't have anything to do with the Dinar. I told her that it had already revalued in country and she didn't want to know about it. I was hoping to continue banking with them after the exchange, but if they aren't onto of things now how can they be after the RV? feeling a little deflated, not giving up hope though. Can anyone one advise about where we might exchange in Hawaii? 2 banks have now said they will have nothing to do with it. Sorry, Wealth manger. although she did dance around the questions!

But cheer up!

Don't be discouraged.....not everyone knows about this. I went to all 3 banks I have accounts at and not one of the managers knew one thing! This is the importance of calling the 800 number - they will direct to you to a bank that will know exactly what is happening and your exchange will be just fine. You will be talking to people at that point that want your business and they'll treat you like royalty! Hang on! We are SO SO SO close!
