150 + International Legal Experts: Israel Has Committed War Crimes

Horse hockey ... these clowns are so biased it is ridiculous. You want facts? How about the fact that the Palestinian combatants are deliberately mixing with civilian populations a -- war crime. They are deliberately targeting civilian populations -- a war crime. They dress their combatants in civilian outfits -- a war crime. The site their facilities in or adjacent to schools, hospitals, apartment buildings etc. Yep you guessed it --a war crime. They have dug dozens of tunnels the only purpose of which was to facilitate attacks against civilian targets -- had they been able to use them -- yea more war crimes. Yet the so called experts just ignore that.

Oh let us not forget the diversion of civilian relief funds to military use at the expense of their civilian population. Not sure if that's a war crime or not, but in my mind it's a crime against humanity. Oh and that incident a couple weeks ago where something like 40 people where killed and injured when Israel supposedly bombed a school being used as a shelter? Well it turns out it was a Hamas rocket that went off course. There is radar AND photographic evidence, but the lame stream media never saw fit to cover that part of the incident.

Israel on the other hand have warned civilians with phone calls, text messages, leaflets and "roof knockers" before a strike. They have taken every step they can to avoid civilian casualties, while Hamas has take every step they can to cause civilian casualties, both in Israel and to their own people. So who are the war criminals?

... and I suppose bombings and rocket attacks against Israel are not war crimes... because they are perpetuated by TERRORISTS????

Now we know how much Israel’s war in Gaza cost — and it’s even more than we expected.
Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon revealed Tuesday that the total military cost of Israel’s 50-day war in Gaza this summer amounted to $2.5 billion. That number doesn’t include an estimated $1.3 billion hit to Israel’s GDP due to the war, according to an estimate JTA got from a senior official.
The $2.5 billion bill is higher than even the most liberal estimates Israeli media made in early August, about two weeks before the fighting ended. During the war, Yaalon said, Israel hit 6,000 targets — 5,000 of them from the air. The Iron Dome missile defense system also shot down 600 missiles fired from Gaza.
Yaalon’s announcement comes on the heels of a major budget cut to pay for the war. Every government ministry sustained a 2 percent cut in its 2014 budget to transfer more than $400 million to the Defense Ministry to pay for the war. The hardest hit was the Education Ministry, which lost nearly $200 million.
Finance Minister Yair Lapid said most of the total $2.5 billion would come from the 2014 budget, but the war’s cost has prompted a public debate between Lapid and Karnit Flug, governor of the Bank of Israel, over how to pay for the rest. Lapid wants to increase Israel’s budget deficit rather than raise taxes or further cut spending next year.
“The last thing the Israeli economy needs is more taxes and more cuts,” Lapid said in a speech Tuesday. “The experience of the international community from the past years proves that austerity budgets do not help. Austerity budgets choke off growth, hold back entrepreneurship and create an atmosphere of no hope.
Flug said, according to Bloomberg News, that an increased deficit would “serve as a clear signal of a retreat from a commitment to fiscal discipline, and will increase the risk of loss of credibility.”

Of course that assumes that Israel wants to exterminate Palestinians.  I believe all they want is for Hezbollah to quit bombing them and to destroy the tunnels they have built.

Well NelsonNancy obviously is not on the side of Israel. At best she has bought the Palestinian propaganda hook, line and sinker, at worst .... 

I was reading yesterday that Israel has a unit in their army who's sole job is to investigate such claims and either verify them or prove them false, but every claim is investigated. It is very clear to any unbiased person looking beyond the biased MSM reporting that Israel went above and beyond the call in minimizing civilian casualties. In addition, by the UN's own accounting, at least half of the so called casualties are just that, so called civilians who were in reality combatants.

I already addressed the question of Palestinian war crimes above.

My question is what do you say about the jewish people against this war or conflict? That they are leftists? That they are self-hating jews? What about the children that died in this conflict? Compare the casualties from Palestinians to the Jewish population. Did they deserve this too? I cannot sit here and say that this was done for a greater good of any nation. I served my country. And I served my country for the wrong reasons. I've seen war. I've seen too many people die for stupid and petty differences. This one is for a land that both can share if they really put forth an effort. Both sides have a deeper agenda (Religious?, Financial?). I don't know what it is but I will find out. I'm not on the side of people who kill for their own personal agendas. I'm on neither side. But if we tally up the bodycount comparing Israel's advanced military weaponry and economic abilities to what ever these Palestinians have, we will see a big difference. I have seen war enough to know that we use good intentions and justifications to promote our violence and to display "Progress." I have many Jewish friends that do not condone these actions from Israel. So what say you? That the Jewish people that disapproves the actions of their government are wrong?
