Economic expert: Economic disaster will hit Iraq because of a failure to approve the budget

It is clear that despite claims to the contrary by Phoney and others, that the budget etc. has not yet been completed. Here is just one article indicating as much. As I have said before, right now, they have far bigger fish to fry.

BAGHDAD / NINA / The economic expert, Salam Sumaisem warned of economic disaster hit Iraq as a result of failure to approve the budget for 2014.

Sumaisem told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that the current parliament did not know the situation in Iraq and did not put a program or form a legislative budget and barely agreed to nominate Haider al-Abadi to form the next government, stressing that "the failure to approve the budget will reflect negatively on the economic situation in Iraq."

She added, "The disorder of the security situation since the events of 10/6 has a lot of negative indicators on the economic conditions that prompted the political blocs to leave the laws of economics and head to the political and security situation" ./ End
