Fun on Tony's Call

Had a bit of excitement on the call yesterday.  A fellow called in and questioned Tony's intel.  He wanted to know why everything he read said that the government hasn't been seated and yet Tony said it has.  He asked Tony if he has actually read the Gazatte.  Tony said no, he doesn't read it, because he knows the people who write the articles.  Explained that Maliki owns 80% of the newspapers.  The exchange got heated, Tony told the guy he was FOS and hung up on him.  Then he and DC went into covering their a$$ mode:

 
DC: Finally, if someone has such an issue with Tony or myself, just don’t listen. WE are not making any money off this and it’s taking a lot of our time.  So if you don’t trust us, don’t listen.  This is a difficult situation to understand, so just back off.
Tony:  That’s why I asked how long this caller had been listening, because Iraqi news is not under the same requirements as we have in the US, where we also have some problems. Iraqi newspapers are trying to keep their people calm, same as anywhere else.  We know that the government is seated and everyone is ready to go because we are talking to  people behind the scenes and who get genuine information that we try to piece together. 
The reason I let that caller go on is because I’m sure there are others who are feeling the same thing and I respect his need to express it.  But if what we say here doesn’t make sense to you, or you don’t agree with it, why continue to listen?  That’s insane.

True.  Reading some of the discussions over there makes it apparent their math skills are somewhat lacking. 

An example from today regarding long/short term capital gains:

Some of the currency I have gifted is dangerously close to becoming long-term. How can I un-gift what I have given and then turn around and gift again with later purchased currency? Does anyone know what the procedure would be? Does the notary document what you gifted as well as the date?
