Croc vs Snake!

LOL how crazy is the size of that thing!

Nothing to gauge size by, but I am guessing that's a relatively small crock. Under 5' which would make the snake somewhere around 20' or so, big, but not unusual.

No Kevin that's a bloody big snake remembering we live in Australia not the Amazon LOL!

I knew that the largest Python on record was around 30', (read it somewhere,) also to my photographer's eye, the surroundings, particularly the vegitation did not look right for a critter much bigger than five or so feet.

Photos can be very deceiving with no fixed frame of reference. That was one of the tricks they used in special effects in the days before CGI -- filming say, a lizard, against a miniature background to turn it into a dinosaur. Intersperse some shots of live humans, and voila! A thriller is born.
