This Lillium is my all time favourite flower, it has the most amazing smell and penetrates the entire house!

Well no usually I can't grown them either, but I have 2 inside at the moment that are looking ok LOL! I haven't been able to ahve flowers this year either, it's been to hot, it's even burnt my roses and roses can usually withstand heat! thankfully it's cooling down so I can plant some flowers pretty soon!

This is one of my favorite flowers. I did find out I am highly allergic to them, after my sons funeral! Also these will drop of the yellow pollen and you can't hardly get the stain out of what it gets on.
My son liked them because they were not so girlie looking for his wedding. There were many arrangements made out of them at his funeral service. Some came home with me, and I got so sick I even lost my voice! No more inside, but I always grow them outside and they are beautiful. I just try not to smell them!

ok alleyrose, I will see if I can find some black roses, I have a rose tree or bush that has tiny roses on it every year, it's such a die hard bush, I never have taken care of it and it keeps coming back stronger every year, must be about 8 foot tall and 6-8 feet wide. At least roses will grow back year after year and no more back aches lol

Wow that's a big rose bush royboy!! I try and look after my roses, I have lots of them mainly because I like cut flowers in the house! However they did not cope well with the extreme heat this year and lack of rain! I'll post some pics tomorrow if I remember LOL! But its bed time for me now, after midnight and I need my beauty sleep LOL! Nitey nite!

I like the dead ones. In fact, in my house we cut the annoying, smelly flowers off, and just keep the stems. They last a lot longer, too.

OK Alleyrose, I just ordered a climbing rose bush and some easy to raise daisy's. They had no black roses. But Roy will find them at one of our many stores we have here in cold Iowa. lol
