1-21-2014 Newshound Guru Med MY THOUGHTS ON THE DINAR: TO ME THIS IS GONNA SNEAK UP ON US AND HIT US WHEN WE LEAST EXPECT. NOW WILL THEY MOVE TO A TRADEABLE IMMEDIATELY? I AM NOT SURE. I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO SEE IRAQ MOVE INTO ARTICLE VIII WITH THE IMF. THIS WOULD BE A BIG STEP IN SHOWING HOW SERIOUS THEY ARE ABOUT INTERNATIONAL CURRENCY AND TRADE.

I have yet to figure out how these clowns figure that IMF Article VIII is something you move under. It's not like the Article 7 sanctions in the UN charter. It's simply a set of rules IMF members agree to live by. As observer, (basically probationary), members, they would have already agreed to abide by the Article VIII rules.
I will agree with one thing, there is a good chance that this will blindside us when it happens. No one knows when it will happen anyway, so the odds are we will be surprised.
