VIDEO -- Iraqi Dinar Converted to Silver Coins

So he has decided that he does not like the dinar any more, so he sold it and bought Canadian Silver coins ... did I miss something?

Silver is very volatile. Historically it has dropped faster and more than gold and recovered more slowly.

He lost on that deal...The spot price for silver is 20.29 and thats for Silver bullion.... so he only got $730 on that deal which left like $300 on the table if he would have just traded it in for dollars....Where does this make sense???....Plus the volatility attached to silver "Coins" is outrageous!!!! He would have been better off exchanging it for another "Established" currency like the AED, That way he would have at least got the value in another currency.....Maybe even more depending on how much he had....

anytime you buy or sell currency or metals your gonna pay a spread, no way around it. that said when dinartrade or whoever does these all in one deals where they go directly from dinar to silver they basically count on people paying those big spreads and not really being able to follow what is a buy in price for dinar, what am i getting, what is current silver price whats a decent markup and how much silver should i get for my dinar. also just the fact that he's an all in one service so you dont have to go to one dealer sell for $800 at which you are losing money, then go to a silver dealer or coin shop and buy silver at probably at least $2-$3 above spot all be it better than dinartrades price. basically cuts out a lot of running around and you are going to lose money either way you cut it. 

also, silver really isn't that volatile now. for a while it was at like $28 and fell down below 20. its kinda bounced from like 19 up to 22 back and forth for a while no really big falls.

^^^ Ive been researching commodities lately and your correct!!!! Silver is an OUTSTANDING BUY right now if your investment horizon is at least 10+ years.... At a 1:63 ratio its a safer store of value if you compare it to bank interest rates of 0.008 or whatever ridiculously low rate it is now, not to mention the new "Bail-in" debacle.... Bottom line, we need to be taking precautions NOW to protect what little wealth we have, or we can continue to believe the main stream media's story of "Economic recovery via QE-INFINITY" .... Im interested in your take on whats going on economically....
