12-1-2013 Newshound Guru tlm724 Article quote: "Siheil assured the importance of the involvement of the IB institutions in the efforts of the State to achieve the economic reformation, expressing the readiness of the parliament to support the IB to bring its tasks in Iraq." so this is saying 1. that the Iraqi banking authorities are working with the world bank to set their system to international standards, ie: Basel, IMF compliance etc... 2. that the Iraqi parliament will not hinder any forward progress as far as the new banking system... awesome news!
