9-16-2013 Intel Guru Delta still feeling good about Sept; intel is still consistent, the IN-country rate in Iraq is still expected to be $0.86 - $1.16 for several years with a managed increase IN-country; there is a National Meeting scheduled for Sept 19 and there is a tremendous amount of activity going on behind the scene, international investors are pouring in to Iraq, Maliki is signing anything and everything put in front of him, the MoF are very busy and very covert - many meetings occurring in hotels to keep quiet; again, the WTO issued the entry invitation.

Iraq applied for accession years ago, in 2007 or 2008. They have been working with the WTO accession committee to achieve the necessary objectives. What exactly are those terms? We don't know as that information is kept confidential until after the process is completed. Iraq says they are close ... time will tell.

9-17-2013 Intel Guru Delta [via BulldogFord65] still looking at September as a pretty big month, there is a 5 year plan that is huge for Iraq; there was a big celebration at a major hotel with very high level officials, Maliki is very busy signing documents. Iraqia TV is saying the currency has to be recognized internationally, still looking for the IN-country rate to come out at $0.86 and stay there a couple of years; the National Meeting is scheduled for Thursday...looking for contracts to be signed.
