Tithe after RV
Wanted to get your input on tithing when this dinar thing goes thru. This is only an example: If I was to receive 1 million for my dinar, and I was left with $60,000.00 after taxes are taken out,,,,would I need to tithe $100,000.00 or $6,000.00? I just want to do the right thing...and give the 10% I need to maybe extra....as well.
Thanks
Thanks

There is no set % on tithing, do whats in your heart.

I beleive the scripture is very clear. The first 10% is the Lords. Pay it out of the gross or pay 10% in dinar. Churchs are tax exempt and they should not have to pay taxes on the Dinar. Therefore the Lords work gets more and the government gets less.

well first of all do you mean $600,000. The bible says 10%, but in giving anything you have to give with a glad heart.

Tithe...Its a GOOD thing!
The Bible says to tithe 10% of your first fruits....Not 10% after everyone else steals from you. God will bless though according to your heart for HE sees what is in the heart and not what is given...Amen[i]

Re: Tithe after RV
Our first fruits is the gross amount before man takes his taxes out so it should come off the top regardless of what your net amount is after taxes and fees ... "first fruits" is exactly what the harvest is before you pay anyone or buy anything with your harvest. My answer would be to pay 10% off the top ... God will bless the rest regardless of how much taxes are paid or fees are paid out :-)

So far for me, the more I give, I get way more in return. I dont stick to any % because I just give what I have. If I only have $10 in my pocket I will give it all. And lo and behold, I somehow receive $20 back. It never fails God always makes sure I am ok

I have always tithed on the gross....and oftentimes even more. You just CANNOT out-give God!

Of your increase 10% is to be given to the LORD. After tax is what your increase is that is what the LORD has given you, tithe on that.

10% on the gross amount. Give the tithe to the church in dinar after it rv's.

Give the church the Dinar. Let them cash it in (you may need to help). The church does not pay taxes on the increase.

Re: Tithe after RV
I have a brother that is a Pastor of a church. I would love to be able to be used to bless his church with my tithe.
So, all I need to do is give my brother the dinar pre rv or post rv? or does it matter??

Proportional giving
I believe in proportional giving, 10% is a guideline. For example if a family makes $50,000 a year and gives $5,000 the net gross before taxes is $45,000, not a lot to live on now a days.
If a family makes $100,000 a year and gives $10,000 the net gross is $90,000 before taxes, that's a somewhat comfortable lifestyle. Should they give a little more?
If a family makes $200,000 a year and gives $20,000 the net gross is $180,000 before taxes, now that's a really comfortable lifestyle. Should they give a lot more?
It's God's first.
Something else to consider is the tithe of one's self. How about volunteering 10% of your time? This can be as valuable because it gets your mind off yourself and onto someone else which can be the most rewarding of all.
I believe after we receive our blessing we really need to consider how we will use our free time and who we can bless with our time......"Until the Whole World Knows"
