The second generation of cards (for Card) is available for all, starting from next week
Company resumed global smart card to card issuing cards after a hiatus of two months, due to the technical modernization.
The Executive Director of the company
Thaer Awad, said in a statement today that "the company embarked on
Sunday issuing cards after I stopped for two months due to modernization
processes," stressing, "it was the transition from the first generation
to the second." and noted that "the branches [of Paradise and Mansour
and dignity ] began the version that is release in all branches from the
tenth of this April.
Said Awad said the "second generation
depends iris and hand as well as the fact that Fingerprints exceeded
the problem of poor fingerprint handmade by 90%, as it allows the agent
to get a card especially that linked card Aseel same bank account. "
and that "all Iraqis will be able to
issue cards for even if some of them is not within the categories
covered." and pointed out that "the new card include in addition to the

My only problem with the
second generation smart card" is that I wonder if it a precursor to like the "mark!" it is supphosed to be linked to EVERYTHING, yes cash and groceries but also house payment/rent, cell phone, even automobiles. It is a scary thought to have near every aspect of ones life attached to a single government note. Especially when that same government can shut it off any second they choose. Just food for thought and conversation. What do you think?
