What happened?

Did any of you people ever wonder why there are more Mods and Admins here than peeps? Membership is lacking in a big way here, and it just seems that the site may not sustain itself very long at this rate, just making a point, and saying, is all, it just seems strange to me-Anyone have any ideas as to how we can 'Shanghai' some new members?

Good question Terbo... I too have noticed that we don't have near the number of posters that we used to have.

In my opinion, I think the whole Dinar thing has run it's course. People are burned out on it. Way too many emotional high's and let downs. I know for me personally, I really don't come to these forums anymore to see what's happening with the Dinar. I wrote my loss off (mentally) a long time ago. To me, that money is gone and I am no longer bitter about it. If a miracle does happen with the Dinar, I'm sure I will find out about it rather quickly via the TV news, internet etc.

Also, many smart people here bring very informative information here about Iraq and other Middle East countrys. I have learned a lot over the years, in fact, I have learned more about these subjects than I ever wanted to know. To be truthful, I'm 52 years old and I no longer could give a crap about these country's other than that information which could affect our own national security. heck, I think I now know more about Iraq and the Middle East than I do the good ole U.S. of A. and all this is just useless knowledge to me. I could care less if we or somebody else or a combination thereof had to go in and wipe the clowns off the map, of course, other than the possible loss of life to our troops.

Bottom line, these are corrupt countrys who for thousands of years have been born and bred to rape, pillage, plunder, cheat steal,lie and murder thier own families and within 2 minutes grab a sandwhich for lunch, then lay down and take a nap and never think twice about what they have done. It's like putting lipstick on a pig, when it wears off, you still got a pig. Or when someone thinks they will domesticate a wild animal and then it turns on them and either maims or kills them and people say "WOW, I can't believe that happened"!! How the heck can you not???? That's what these things do....... It's in thier genetic makeup!!! Well, same for the vast majority of these fanatic's in the middle east.

So.... Yes, I gave up on Iraq and the Dinar. I now just come here for the comradery and try to get a laugh or two along the way. Maybe we need to evolve this forum to more domestic issues or something like that. We now all have friends all over this country, I'm sure if we put our heads together, we could move this forum along.

Anyway, enough babble from me, I'm going home for the night:)

I guess that was a big mistake- I'm sorry I mentioned it- Chevy is right, though, and I really can't say as I blame him- I didn't buy that much dinar, and glad I didn't go stupid over it- I've cut my losses, and gave up on any hope of this happening soon, and I have come to the realization, that at this point, the comraderie of all the good people and friends I have made here is the most important and best thing that I ever experienced for years, and am so very happy that I got to talk, joke , smile, cry, raise h-e-ll and basically came to enjoy my other big family, and for that, I am truly grateful and blessed-, and hope that y'all feel the same-And just keep in mind, that I have grown to love each and everyone of you- It has been one h-e-ll of a ride, And I can say that with all certainty, and not a doubt in my mind- I will still be here off and on, but not so frequently as I once was-I will lurk here and there, and drop in to check out the 'Progress', although things have gone silent, and will be that way for awhile, but I'm sure that if this thing ever happens, I may see it, or someone will let me know- Gonna shower, and hit the hay- I'm sure we'll talk later on-

There have been 55 registered users on line in the last 99 hours. Consiodering we used to have that many in an hour, participation is WAY down, but it seems more or less on par with the other sites that do not promote some guru. I guess people just want/need that constant hype, affirmation, dose of hopium ... whatever ....

Sorry, for me life kicked me in the butt. I have not been here much but remember daily those here who make good conversation and try to show the truth of any subject they choose to talk about. I for one am very happy to not have gurus here. I was about to leave before after all the false calls etc. I only wonder how many were hurt due to their own greed and the bad calls that made it worse for them. I bought both dinar and vnd but only as much as I could afford to use a wall paper.

In response to your question, I don't know how to attract more people here other than perhaps find a way to have some of our posts put on a place like dinar recaps. then they have a link to us.

I don't think we're exactly on their "A" list right now ....

I've seen it before, forums go through a slow period, mainly because news is repetitive, and boring...if something big or earth shattering happens, the forum will pick up again

Everyone is right, this whole investment with all the lies and made up intel has just about taken a toll on all of us I am afraid. I for one will stay I guess for the bitter end. Yes we have lost a lot of members. But who cares it just goes to show that they really were only interested in the big hype. Even Anderson has left us, maybe we need to get a sponser to give away free Dinars !!!!! If they join. LOL.

AJ Anderson has gotten his own site to teach people about how to invest,what to invest in, and use their investments to the best advantage, so as not to lose money-He probably drops by occasionally, but is a 'Ghost' here off and on so to speak-:shock:
