Dear Nancy Pelosi, who is so concerned for us, was worth somewhere around 22 million in 2009, this jumped about 62% to 35.3 million in 2010. They just "happened" to have some pretty good investments. The Center for Responsive Politics actually places her current net worth at over 192 million.
But make no mistake, she feels our pain, just ask the help at the $10,000/night at the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai at Ka'upulehu in Kona, HI. where she went for Christmas. Further, while the net worth of that evil 1 percent of Americans has remained more or less constant since 2004, the net worth of lawmakers has seen
double-digit growth.
Not that I would accuse our fine lawmakers of insider trading or anything so unscrupulous ...
But make no mistake, she feels our pain, just ask the help at the $10,000/night at the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai at Ka'upulehu in Kona, HI. where she went for Christmas. BTW I was looking at some data today, and have not found the whole ball-o-wax yet, but found it very interesting that of the top 10 richest members of congress, 7 were Democrats and 3 Republican ... and yes Nancy was one of them.

BTW I was looking at some data today, and have not found the whole ball-o-wax yet, but found it very interesting that of the top 10 richest members of congress, 7 were Democrats and 3 Republican ... and yes Nancy was one of them.

Yep, and some did it the old fashioned way, like EF Hutton, they EARNED it. Darrell Issa and Harmon from Ca. (actually it was her husband) come to mind.
