Best 50 bucks he never spent!

Herb and Daisy had been married for 50 years. Each and every year they attended their state fair to take in all the fun. As well, each year Herb wanted to do the helicopter ride but Each year Daisy no as it cost 50 bucks!

This year was no different so off to the state fair they went. Once again Herb wanted to ride the helicopter and once again Daisy said no. Herb said "Daisy, I'm 74 years old and have never been in a helicopter". Daisy replied "I don't care Herb, 50 bucks is 50 bucks!,

Not realizing the pilot overheard them, the pilot interjected with a deal! "tell you what, he said, I will take you both for a ride and if you can keep TOTALLY silent the whole trip, there will be no charge".

This was a deal Herb and Daisy could not pass up!

Off they went. Finally the pilot started some severe and extreme maneuvers trying to scare them so they would blurt out something and he could charge them each 50 bucks!,

Not a word!!! When they returned to the fair, the pilot turned to Herb and said "how did you do it, I tried to scare the crap out of you and not one word"!!

Herb replied "well, I almost said something when Daisy fell out but, 50 bucks is 50 bucks"!!
