Guru Studley today said the the new UST notes have already been printed. Really??? Wonder where I might go to confirm that, or even that any official source has ever even implied it? Still plenty of total nonsense on recaps 2879513009

Studley was asked if someone deposited 1 million in a bank does that increase the banks lending ability by 10 million. Studley said that was the old system amd the rules have changed. Really??? Where would I read those new rules? Still plenty of total nonsense on recaps 2879513009

There may have been changes in the amounts, but as far as I know, fiat banking is alive and well in the USA.

Interesting? It would be great if the system would change and stop "Monetizing" our signatures, but I don't believe that has happened or will happen until they go to the new commodity backed money..

(Monetizing - even my spell checker doesn't know how to spell it? Anyone out there know? I completely understand the system but how to spell it that is the question?)

Just in case someone wanted to know and doesn't, what has been happening now with this system is this: You get a credit card, the Bank then receives 9 times that which they can then turn around and loan to someone else. That's all done on your signature. Now, you see why we are in so much trouble with this debt. No money was involved, but the Federal Reserve gave the Bank 9 times the money it agreed to loan you.

Nice huh?

Or if you can find a copy, there was a pamphlet put out by the Chicago Federal reserve bank called "Modern Money Mechanics" which explains how fiat banking works. They no longer publish this pamphlet.

I don't think we will see commodity based currency in this country any time soon and it is still fiat money. If you can't go and convert it to what it is based on, like you use to be able to do with gold backed curreny, it is still fiat currency.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for an significant currency reform. Besides, it ain't the currency per-se that is the issue, it's the spending, especially by the government, and they were into deficit spending years before we came off the gold standard. Heck Great Britain was in trouble in the mid 1700's we owe our independence, in a large part, to Parliament's unwillingness to reign in that spending and fear of raising taxes any further at home. Making money commodity based will not stop that, only self control and a willingness to make hard choices and go through the inevitable pain will fix the mess we are in.

WHO-HA ON RECAPS............

I have depended on Recaps for sometime to bring the daily quotes and whatever from the gurus and site admins. However, these last few weeks have seen desperate times. Bring on all that Okie, BWM, Studley, ETC. have to say.

I don't want to hear from Dooda in OKC that suddenly dreamed that he has an RV vision. Many of us have followed various Predictors for months- in some cases years. We watch for those names on Recaps. Even though I might not agree with all presented, I do get an idea; from all combined- which rock the RV crawled under last night. RECAPS ... clean up your act..leave the newbies and the praying mantis troops out.
