Nope, when I first got into this (as the original permanently banned Dinarling) I believed all the BS. Went out and bought whenever it "had rv'd, you can quit your jobs" announcements were posted. Didn't take many of those posts for me to realize that someone was very frequently putting out a load of BS. That's when Dinarling went postal on the site and got banned forever. Now I continue to purchase a set amount every payday, no more than I can afford, but still buying. I buy because I believe in the Dinar & Iraq's very bright future (if they can just get their act together), not because I believe in any GURU.

Doodoo- I'll just be glad when this thing hits, and hope and pray they don't 'remove ' the zeros- It will ruin everything that we have wished and hoped for-I don't buy any more dinar, because I am not sure where this 'RV' is going to take us, or what it'll end up being- Just hoping for the best, like the rest of 'ya'll-

Just seems like too many PTB's have plenty of dinar for it to be total lop. Also, I don't see how you get the Iraqis to swap $ for dinars unless the dinar is worth at least $1 and probably a bit more. Maybe I can't see the forest for the trees, but that's what I see happening......sometime!

I could just see the Chinese sitting around a table and having a discussion. Weelllll, I like that name "Okie" and think we should honor him with the privilege of bringing the RV to the table..

One of the best and funest employee I hired was Chinese "Robert". He was the most fun person you would ever want to work with. He was an absolute riot.. Especially the day he brought "feesh balls" to the office and micro waved them hot" (FISH BALLS)... I was sitting at my office 3 offices away from his and 4 from the kitchen when this oder that was impossible to describe filled my room... I went flying down the hallway following the smell to Robert's room. Hummm, he had closed his door - that was unusual so I began pounding and yelling Robert open the door now... What the **** (no I don't and didn't swear at him) are you doing. What is that smell? What the ***** is that smell. Oh, he replied, feesh balls bloss. I very nicely, as composed as I could remain, very politely told him to never bring feeh balls to the office again.

Robert being the gentleman immediate replied, "yes bloss (he always called me bloss except when he was calling me his Liz Taylor and how could you get upset over someone who believes you are their Liz Taylor?) I will never bring them again, and he didn't and the rest of us somehow survived... Thank God... (And, yes, just for the record, I can still smell them every time I think of them...)

I think it is great that someone as caring and giving as Oakie will be bringing the RV to us. I think they have made a great choice... Like him or don't he will still be one of the most caring people you will ever run across in a formum or any where else for that matter... Yes, like some of the rest of you he is one reason I have as many Dinars that I do... (And oh the harrassment I got over those purchases... Thanks again Okie!!!)

I was referring to "some" or "many" posts lately and was not implying that anyone was out of line. However, it seems that some people want to bash or semi-bash Okie over and over and over and I for one would like a break from it!

Since the subject of bashing comes up quite often, I have a question. Just what is considered bashing? In the past, it was pretty much anything that disagreed with the various protected Roos.

Is it bashing to seriously doubt, or even laugh at outrageous claims made by those who have in the past made outrageous claims that never happened? If those people had made such claims once or twice I would have no problem with them, but you all know some of those people have made outrageous claims on an almost weekly basis, how can such people ever be considered credible?

If I had told you at least 3 times that your house had burned down and the fire department was on site and you rushed home to find nothing had happened, how would my crediblity be with you? Might you be just a bit angry with me for putting you under such stress? And if I were to say, "Well gee, why be mad at me, I was just telling you what my sources told me and they said it was confirmed". And if those same sources were the ones that have been telling me for years that your house was going to burn down by Tue. morning for sure. Would you be angry with me for continuing to listen to those sources and passing that info to me as credible intel?

I think most people would be very angry. Or, to make it more personal. How about if I told you my sources confirmed your child/wife/husband/mother/father had been in a serious accident and taken to the hospital and you rush there with your heart in your mouth, to find no such thing? Would you be angry? Bet you would. Now, does telling you it has RVed and you ill be at the bank in the morning, as serious as above? Probably not, but it would be close for some who are about to lose their homes and cars, or who stupidly rush out and use the rent money to buy dinar.

Does continually passing on lies and misinformation (especially information that will cause stress or harm) from people who have NEVER been right, make you a liar? Or, does it make you just mentally incompetent?

When all the "credible intel providers" confirm that the chief among them is being "told what to say" (hasn't he always been?) should we celebrate that as a good thing, or cast a very suspicious eye on any such directed announcements?

There is no need for anyone to announce the RV, when it happens, we will all know within a few minutes.

For a long time I have considered guru posts as entertainment and part of that entertainment is the chance to participate by zapping them a bit. I am not in favor of getting nasty with them or calling them bad names, "guru" is bad enough.

The saddest thing, and I pray this does not happen, is that if they use the ugly three letter word that rhymes with TOP, the Iqd and USD are almost dead even now.

Pretty much you got it there ... if you attack the person I would consider it a bash. If you strongly disagree with the "intel," then not. I have always said use common sense, if you would resent it if someone called you that, then don't say it. If you would consider it offensive or hurtful said of you, then don't say it. If you would not say it in front of your mother/wife/daughter/pastor/etc. then don't say it.

The Lord's prayer begins with OUR Father, not my Father, or their Father, but our Father. Perhaps it would be best to think to ourselves, "Our Father," before we said anything... just sayin.
