BAGHDAD, April 11 (AKnews) - The Kuwaiti Embassy in Baghdad announced
today that 50 Kuwaiti companies will begin work in Iraq at the end of
this month.

The Kuwaiti ambassador to Baghdad Ali al-Muamman said
the companies will enter the Iraqi market after being informed of the
investment law details by the president of the Investment Authority,
Sami al-Araji, who visited Kuwait recently.

"The Kuwaiti
companies were afraid of entering Iraq because of security problems that
many parts of the country witnessed recently, but the situation is
different today and the situation is more stable in Iraq," said Araji.

The
investment chief explained that the news companies cover various
sectors, such as housing, commerce, agriculture, industry and economic
activities.

The Iraq-Kuwait relations witnessed development after
the attendance of the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Subah al-Ahmad al-Subah to
the Arab League summit on March 29.

It was the Emir's first visit to the country since Iraq invaded Kuwait during the reign of the former regime in the 1990s.

Turkey
topped the regional investors in Iraq with $12bn (13.9tr IQD) in 2011.
Iraq's trade exchange volume with Iran, Syria and Jordan in the same
year reached $4bn (4.6tr IQD), $2bn (2.3tr IQD) and $1bn (1.1tr IQD),
respectively.

Kuwait folks going to work in Iraq, I guess they have worked out some/most of the issues with Chapter 7?, Hope so!

yes things are moving closer to an rv but you still need eril and 3 ministers before an rv to happen . many people keep missing this and who does this fall back on malaki and who does not want an rv malaki so something has to give for this to happen and believe me the gurus have no clue so imho we are here for a while depending on malki

One mistake I think made is thinking what Maliki wants,

It could be he may want it all, the power, with no sharing, and the RV, which to get he needs to either get Shabibi to do it, or, get rid of Shabibi, which we have seen him try to do.

IMO The Erbil and Ministers have been completed for quite sometime. I think they are holding back on announcing it until the RV. Once they announce it, then we expect and look for the RV. This way they still have the element of surprise.

i am not sure if completed if so the problem with erbil is the shring part m will not share power i a huge issue but all dictators fail i hope this is true.

It might be done, it might not be. I was basing my opinion on the fact that Erbil and Ministers were brought into this probably before I got into this investment which was over a year ago.

I know that when I got in I was hearing about Erbil for sure.

I have a hard time believing even the slowest of governments would take over a year to complete theses two items on their agenda. Especially when they seem paramount in order for them to move forward.

For clarification purposes Jayzze I was not disrespecting, or down-playing your point-of-view.
