Powers that be.

Bulldog is always telling us that the powers that be in the U.S. and elsewhere don't want the RV to happen. Who are these powers that be? I'd love to know who in this country is trying to hold this up. Is it people in the government? Businessmen? Wall Street? Who? Ahhh, the life of a mushroom.

Seriously though, that is a good question...some things in this investment or some of the stuff we hear either don't make sense or it sounds like something out of a Jack Ryan movie.

With all the resignations and arrests that have been made of corporate bank officials everywhere, it would be nice to see a list of them. We hear they have news coverage of them in canada, australia and elsewhere but not here. Do we really live in a pravda like government gontrolled news media nation now? Let's see a link to these news articles in other countries if they are covering it.

problem is finding honest people in gov majority of both parties are either connected to oil or drug companies. the cabinets of both bushes were in oil. in alaska there is a huge area that was made into a park that contains a huge amount of oil but we can never drill because of a deal with papa bush and the saudis. there are fighting over a new pipline to be built sounds good but will will never see a drop of the oil because it is sold on the open market andchina gets most of it just like the oil we produce here never stays here same reason.so until you find a third party for the people it realy does not matter we all get screwed

Hey, Terbo is correct, but we can all help in November by NOT voting in anyone that is in office and making the can't - a - dates leave in disgrace. The power that these so called "legislators" think they have in not equal (yet) to the power of the vote. WE need to get the vote out and have our say to each and every neighbor, friend, cousin, etc. prior to Nov.
NO one that is in should be re-elected - from the dog catcher to the POTUS.
Especially if they are for continuing the farce in Washington DC.

Sooner or later this will pop, and when it does some (probably very little) of the real truth will surface. The ones that hold this up are liable, any way you cut it, and depending upon where they are and when they are found out the penalty will vary. I would NOT want to be one of them. Come November we need to vote all incumbents out and elect only NEW people who are willing to abide by the original constitution and be fiscally responsible. No more million dollar trips to Hawaii or Tahiti or where ever on a "fact finding mission," no more personal health care and retirement systems - for life, and no more dynasties - impose an Eight (8) year TOTAL term limit for each of the following: city, county/borough/parish, state and federal elected offices. Sorry, but the dog catcher only gets to chase Fido for 8 years. One last thing - limit the amount that can be spend on any campaign compensatory to the level of government i.e.: city - $5,000, County/etc - $10, 000, etc. Hey, they build massive war chests and spend millions on attorneys (look at Don Young of Alaska and his Florida fiasco). Ever wonder what happens to the rest they don't spend getting elected?
