WF Open today, Presidents Day!!

I just realized that my WF bank is open today on President's Day!! I talked to them this morning, and just hung up talking to them again. I asked what time they close and the gentleman said at 4:30 pm. Ummmm could this be a sign?? Or do I need to

No sadly, banks are a business. The more they are open the more money they can make.
Huntington Banks are Closed.... it is a holiday that is a choice for banks on whether or not to be open.

It wasn't that many years ago that 'Black Friday' didn't exist per say. One major retailer decides to be open, the rest must follow suit to make their 4th quarter projections. Now, we have many people having to leave from family homes/get togethers too soon after the Thanksgiving meal because they need to travel back home and go to bed because they have to report to work at 3:30 am to get ready for the big day!
I for one can live without Black Friday. I believe it is 'anti-family' oriented.
Anyway, hopefully banks won't follow WF's lead and this will die out.
Either way, It doesn't have anything to do with the IQD.

The reason for this information is because I saw were someone posted last week that their WF bank would be open today and the others were closed for the holiday. They felt that it may have something to do with WF being one of the big 4 and they were getting ready for RV. I thought ALL banks were closed on Presidents day. No biggy...just wanted to know if anyone else had a thought on this. I have no problem waiting, after all it is a speculative, high risk investment...so along with others...I wait. Go RV :cheers:
