Talibani returning from new york??

If anyone saw the post on dinarrecaps of a chat with bluedog, he mentions an article about Talibani being in New York. Even though the article is dated today 1/26/2012 the copywrite is 2011 (notice bottom left corner of the article). Obviously mis-information. Surprised he didn't notice that.

I agree with you ...I remember the other article about VP will leave if threatned that was last year when Biden was there at Christmas...kinda strange

I did the same thing last night. Found an article with today's date and I posted it and low and behold, there was a 2010 date on it that I didn't see at first. Quickly deleted it so no one would get upset at me for wasting their time with an old article. Kinda embarrassing!

I have been victimized by the same smoke. The moral to this story is always read before you post!

WATCH THE DATES! I find myself VERIFYING the dates of posts, articles and other information. At first, I thought they were 'typos'. Then, as information keeps showing up that appears to be 'rehash' of old information, I have now 'slowed down' and look at ALL the dates... even copyrights. One of the helpful rules of the study of scripture is to always go back to 'first mention' and verify against the original text. Not a bad idea in this 'field of dreams' information community. FINALLY, someone has said.... 'how can you determine the future' UNLESS you understand the PAST. Bottom line... old dates can be very useful and helpful in the DISCOVERY of 'full information... with MORE understanding...'

Just this morning i read another article that stated Mr. Talibani was returning to Iraq from Germany after having Knee Surgery. I was thinking that this man gets around and quickly too, so ia m happy someone bothered to read the actual date of the post. But my question is, What importance iss it to restate an older article? Do the folks in Iraq have nothing real to say so they just make something up... old news is good news?

I think this falls under the "mis-information" we have all been warned about. Not sure who is putting this out. Iraq? IMF? CIA? FBI? UST? or any other TLA out there. But, sooner or later they will find their mistake and start updating the copywrite year too and then we won't know what is real or not.

BTW, I thought I read somewhere it was back surgery.

Talibini is in Germany. He had surgery and is recovering. He will return to Iraq mid Feb when he is said to be resigning. I posted a AK News article on this a couple days ago. HE is not in New York....rick152
