Can someone help me understand Bluwolf's ( and some others ) repeated suggestions to 'lock in rates at the banks.' Is this running on an assumption that we'd be staying with that bank / branch even tho' we may only be cashing in one note to begin our structure set ups?

The purported 24 hours don't really provide that much time to be running around, or even calling on banks - provided we can even get an immediate response - let alone be given enough time to wait for these "bank packages." Which, also will take 24 / 48 hours to get to us.

Just trying to understand the step-by-step procedure for this lock-in-your-rates discussion / advice.

All help welcomed! Thanks you.

I would like to know this too...24 hours from the time it hit's or what??I too think it's gonna be a struggle to get everyone there ..or does the phone call lock it in 100%??? I just hope we get a little more time than 24 hours...If it goes a dollar per dollar what would it go down to??? So much intel to take in.... The post from Bluwolf that just went up as new on Recaps is several days old - early last week, as I recall. The consensus from around the dinar community is that if the rate comes out super high (range of $7 and up), then expect it to come down within several days, but with the caution that NO ONE REALLY KNOWS! Certainly not Bluwolf, IMHO.

Personally, I intend to avoid potential mob scenes at banks of people who are listening to Bluwolf - this could be a very bad scene. I have secured a private appointment at a non-commercial location of a Big 4 bank. I plan to cash out one note immediately into my checking account to hire tax atty, and then make a decision within the first 24 hours about whether to wait for full cash out or just get it done. If the traders (Tampa Dinar, Dinar Banker) can lock in a high rate for us, I will consider that, but I get nervous thinking about waiting three weeks for that appointment, even with a locked in rate.

The Middle East is volatile, and life is short.

I'd rather have mild regret over a missed million or two from cashing in early at a low rate which later rose, while relaxing in Bali with my cashed in dinar, rather than be suffering intense regret over having waited too long and be broke after a Middle East meltdown.

Just a thought. Just my humble etc.

1000 ways to cook a widget for your pet. Since she is almost always right who am I to argue. Plus she has sharp teeth to win the argument! Oh and will someone tell bluwolf not to chase the squirrels oops sorry I mean intel across the busy streets he might get hit by a widget mobile!
