Inspired by Splovengates "Be ready between sunday and monday night, or maybe tuesday or wednesday, could also be thursday but definitely by friday.... probably next week, monday or late tuesday night, wednesday morning to hear the rv and should be cashing in on the following tuesday the 1st part of january or february. For the moment it is up in value .. a good sign!! It will depend on what it closes at this evening and if/when CBI updates

It ended up at 1163.1, so you were correct. I am very familiar with currency & stock trading mechanics, but would like your opinion as to why it will keep settling back around the same value. Do you suspect artificial manipulation in play, keeping it at a certain value or are you saying standard market forces keep bringing it back where it was at the start of the trading session?

Geezer...Atop the graph you first see there is a amall box that has usd/ whatever in it...Hit that ans scroll down to bottom of thast small drop down and ihit other currencys the screen will change where you put in USD and IQD...rick152

That is a 2.487% increase, earlier in the week we had a .34% increase, So now, in total a 2.827%,
Not much, but bit by bit we are getting somewhere.
I wonder if this is the market thinking that something GOOD is going to happen

I HAVE A QUESTION WILL THE BANKS MATCH WHAT THE FOREX SHOWS?? OR ONLY WHAT THE CBI SHOWS??

There is no guarantee the any of the different places to we may be able to cash in will line up with any other place.
They all could be at different rates, that for some will be a big issue, take more money with maybe less security?
At this point in time, the few banks that do buy IQD are offering much less than say Dealers, which offers less than the CBI.

My friend who is a currency trader, and has been so for many years, told me that he believes the Forex will show before CBI... If the Forex is now showing 1137 and CBI is still at 1166, I would have to say his info is true... but lets see how this plays out.

No, you haven't lost money, most of us bought at 1171, it's not at 1164. That means it's now worth 1164/1dollar, so that's a little over 1% more valuable than it was when you bought it. Growth, not much but growth none the less. That's at CBI.
Forex is showing 1163.25 (Bid = Sell) and 1183.5 (Ask =buy) at the moment. I'm not 100% on that, but I think that's the way it works.

The fact is if you sold it today you would probably lose money
because of the spread.
