It seems to me as long as Iraq is under such a powerful article they are hindered very strongly as to what they can or can not do economically. What are your thoughts on this??
[Proteus] I think the sanctions and chaptor 7 are a big thing for the image of iraq... now do they physically prevent iraq from changing their currency... maybe not... but the other processes that i did not mention from above also need to be accomplished before Iraq will RV

[TheRock] With respect to the world economic situation how is Iraq a player in the scheme of things, that is, how is Iraq revaluation going to help solve the worlds economic problems?
[Proteus] well here is the deal... that is a double sided sword...

[Proteus] Iraq has the largest oil reserves in the world, they just can not get to them fully yet
[Proteus] and so the US, as many other countries have made prior deals with Iraq to purchase oil at a rate far below the going price
[Proteus] and this is what will help the world when Iraq starts rendering the loans and oil back to the countries that they are indebted to for assistance
[Proteus] this is why many countries thru the paris club

[Proteus] because they have plan B's to get their value back

[Proteus] so if a law is voted on, then they have a set amount of time to publize it or it needs to be revoted on... but until the deadline comes about... they can withhold the announcement
[Proteus] if they do not announce the new law or ammendmant, than they go back to square one... and this was built into the situation so they could not hide laws forever and just inform you that years ago we passed something

[Proteus] then the citizens become aware of the change officially... not just rumoprs thru new paper articles of opinion or editorial
[Proteus] then the lower new denoms are released so change can be made from the big bills
[Proteus] the big bills are retained in the CBI and eventually there are now only new lower denoms in use
[Proteus] but for the monitary system to be totally converted... many things all have to happen... and many of them simultainiously
[Proteus] these are my systematic opionions of what needs to happen... step by step

[Proteus] I mentioned to her that HISTORY has alot to do with IRAQ

[Proteus] and you say well that has been written before... it is just a little difert twist on the same story, well this is really the news agencies bartering back and forth in their own way for the best story

[Proteus] and back and forth, and they present so called experts... to argue their side of the deal... well this is back to that bartering nature they have instilled within them since time has began
[Proteus] so we will never know how far this goes or what the outcome will be ahead of the result... as these facts carry on...

[Proteus] they sell dinars and buy dollars, and then turn right around and sell dollars and buy dinars... for the spread, and in doing this so often... the rate has become relatively stable... at 1170, although when the auctions are not happening like on holidays and such, you might see the 1170 go fron 1150 to maybe 1190... as people still need conversions for thier own reasons,
[Proteus] and this process is what aloows the CBI to pay wages, from the spread on the dinar sales at auction and from the interest made on the loans thhhey have given

[Proteus] they need to have a internationally recognized currency to be a real country... a country with safe guards for investors to see that everyone in the world feels safe about investing in Iraq

[Proteus] so i guess... that still is a double sided sword... yes they need out of sanctions to get internationally recognized... but do they need to change their rate to be internationally recognized... NO
[Proteus] but they have been stockpiling Reserves... as they have more reserves 58 to 60 billion now... more than they have ever had since 1921
[Proteus] and this is a good thing to illlustrate to the international community that they have enough back up funding to handle things, and not to worry about the investments of foreign companies... as investors are safe!
