First of all, if you are going to download software, you will want to make sure it is clean. You will need a hasher. A hash code is generated through an algorithmic program which computes a numerical/alphabetical code based on the ones and zeros in the binary code of the downloaded material. You will need to download a program compatible with your operating system. Reputable download sites will have hash codes that you can compare. There are different hash codes, if your downloaded data is equall to the hash code(s) of the program that you downloaded, you can reasonably assume that it was not corrupted from the server.

Also, I will add, that there is a place, under a mountain, that monitors all electronic communication. Even with enhanced security you will not be able to circumvent the allgorithms produced by your browsing to be identified. Just saying...
