When I see the first flake *ahem snowflake!* lol I almost always start thinking of where I want to move to with warmer climates-oceanside!

Now it is coming down harder and has covered the trunk of my car~it is really looking like little "snow pellets" more than regular snow! nooooooooo this is way tooooo sooooon!!!

I feel for you Catherine...I'm sitting here in Starbucks, just finished my Mocha, and I cannot BELIEVE all the sunshine coming down in this CLOUDLESS D/FW Texas sky at 64-deg Fahrenheit RIGHT NOW !!!

Dam n...it's horrible. Very Happy

NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Starbucks' mocha...mmmm! and I would take 64F in a heartbeat! The sun is out-it better MELT those friggin snow pellets! (mini-hail!?)

Well Catherine, as we have already had a couple of snowfalls just in Oct. totalling almost 2' at my place, I find it really difficult to feel that much sympathy for just a few flakes. I'm guessing that NH is not one of those places your thinking of moving to.

LOL and that would be a no! I just always get like this when I see the first few flakes. Actually they were little pellets/hail then changed to big fluffy flakes! I tried to enjoy it but only for my Mom who passed away who would always say "oh isn't that beautiful?!" lol.

Certainly much more enjoyable if you can just watch or play in it as opposed to having to drive or work in it...

True dat! Now my car is completely covered in snow...makes going out to the store a little dilemma particularly since usually the first snow contributes to a lot of car accidents as people "forget" how to drive in it since last winter-which btw is not supposed to be until December 22nd!!

I was originally from northern Mn, I always felt the same way as you are now feeling. I am liking FL much better, walking in the sun, lots of green, a bunch of beaches...yep, it's good!

Have to visit my sister to go snowmobiling tho...
