Erbil and Baghdad discuss implementation of Article 140 after the Eid holiday

A delegation from Erbil will go to Baghdad after the Eid al-Adha holiday to discuss the application of Article 140 of the Iraqi Constitution.
"After Eid al-Adha holiday, a delegation from the Kurdistan Regional Government will go to Baghdad and discuss with the Iraqi government the application of Article 140 of the constitution, " Mullah Nasser Ahmed told Pasnius .
He added «the Iraqi government can not control the areas of Kurdistan (disputed) without the Peshmerga, where the deterioration of the security situation in these areas day after day».
Nasser said that Baghdad was the initiative to agree on the application of Article 140, and said: «This is a good step to reach an agreement between Erbil and Baghdad».
The Minister of Peshmerga in the Kurdistan Regional Government Shoresh Ismail has confirmed the first day of Eid al-Adha, that there are dialogues with the Iraqi army with the aim of returning the Peshmerga to 'disputed' and fill that security gap existing.
