BAGHDAD (Reuters) -

The office of the supreme religious authority, Ali al-Sistani, said on Friday that Monday of next week will be the first day of Eid al-Adha.

The office said in a brief statement received by "Al-Ghad Press" a copy of it, that "on Saturday, the third of August is the first day of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah Haraam 1440 for migration, and will be on Monday after the next, the 12 of August, the first day of Eid al-Adha "He said.
