Approx. 3 weeks ago he was chatting with people on OOM with big Intel and they said he had good Intel. He was on OOM chat for approx a week and then disappeared.

a reason for not knowing, is that it hasnt yet happened or announced to the public. I feel very few people will know about this so I doubt any leaks would have occurred hours before the fact.

Good Lord no, don't mention the moon, I'm surprised shakesforlife hasn't already picked up on that. Next thing you know it will be the full moon with a white hat on top and wgs under it to call the RV, or was that the black hats....I dont remember could be the purple hats and the unicorns.

It was sarcasm, and actually it was/were (a) guru, and these stories started a year ago last spring, so I was wrong, not a few months ago, but over a year ago. Have some one share examples of really old intel with you...

Do a lot of reading and figuring out who is full of it and who is not. Spend more time reading and researching than you ever have in your life and ten you may start to have a clue as to what is BS and what is not. Most of the time it makes the forums kinda fun.

Well now we have a meatman who professes that the RV was to have happened and so far we haven't seen it come to fruitation. FACT. Seems to me that if one posts and the post doesn't come out like it was stated the poster should come on and explain it. That is the only acceptable thing to do. Many of the gurus have done it, humbly. Of course most were bashed - which is not an appropriate response in any ones language or thinking - for stepping up and explaining that the event or circumstance did not occur as predicted.
PREDICTED is the key word here -- I know of no one that knows for sure when this RV will occur (short of Shabibi).
What should we do about meatman? Excuse him and hope that he learned a valuable lesson about forecasting the event and not being 100% verified prior to posting.
Sorry folks, the last I heard we are all human and prone to errors. I make them and admit them daily (small though they may be - usually).
Let's drink some iced tea and relax - this ride is almost over so enjoy what is left of it in a less excitable manner so you can enjoy the fruit of your "labor." JMHO

You caught what I said, good. No offense was taken. It's easy to react quick especially with a touchy subject such as accurate intel issues.

I am responding to the statement you made about smoking. Actually, I have considered moving to a state that has it legalized if the initiative doesn't pass here. Have you read Jack Heror's book, the Emperor Wears No Clothes? Just curious...

Two points that are salient to the above remarks.

1. Meatman did not post this tonight. Someone else did.

2. Some need to revisit what the definition of a lie is. Meatman did not lie because it was not his information to lie about. He could only be guilty of a lie if he changed the information he received. He presented someone else's info. Since it missed the mark the original issuer of the info stands to be the liar. Then again someone up the food chain may have changed their mind which then made the info erroneous, but not a lie by definition. There must be willful intent to mislead and a deliberate change in the reporting of the information received from another person to create a lie by definition.
