The Minister of Planning, Dr. Nouri Sabah al-Dulaimi, confirmed on Monday his efforts to provide the necessary funding for the rehabilitation of the entire Al-Batera road in Maysan Governorate, which has become known as the "road of death" due to the frequent accidents that occurred during the past period. Dr. Nuri al-Dulaimi, during a meeting with a number of MPs from Maysan province, discussed with the Ministry of Finance and other relevant authorities to rehabilitate the path of Al-Batera, which links the province of Maysan with the governorates of Diwaniyah, Dhi Qar and Basra.
