Foreign Minister: Britain is keen to develop relations and cooperation in the fight against terrorism

The Prime Minister, Adel Abdul Mahdi, Thursday, Iraq's keenness to develop relations with Britain and continue to cooperate in the fight against terrorism.
The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by Mawazine News that "Abdul Mahdi received a telephone call from British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt in which he affirmed the support of the Iraqi government and its efforts to consolidate security and stability and strengthen Iraq's status in its Arab, , Pointing out that "the British Foreign Minister, renewed congratulations to Abdulmahdi to take over the presidency of the government."
He stressed, "Iraq's keenness to develop relations with Britain and continue cooperation in the field of combating terrorism and achieve stability and economic prosperity," noting that "
"We have recently received officials from neighboring countries in Baghdad, including the Iranian president and the Saudi minister of trade, accompanied by large responsible and economic delegations," he said.
