Good example as far as it goes. It could have continued where an audit revealed misappropriation of funds and the stock was suspended. After a six month investigation the company was found guilty and put into receivership.

No money is made until you liquidate your position.

Not trying to throw cold water but just stay grounded.

Freeway Bill, it is a great example, because that is how it usually works and any investor can understand that, but for a lot of people who never has been an investor in anything and the Iraqi Dinar is their first, your story puts them about half way up the 100 mile per hour elevator and then some GURU will put out a post or call that its going to happen tomorrow, putting the elevator to the top, then the RV does not happen and the elevator comes crashing down 1000 miles per hour causing the already skeptical investor to sell out, losing the spread on their exchange, which really puts a nasty taste in their mouths. in my opinion we need to quit buying and talking about the Dinar and just let it happen. my sourses tell me the RV is soon and this year, that's all that's needed at this point. AJ

I have to say, I have been an investor most of my adult life, since about 1986, in realestate, metals and stocks, and the pumping of the investments happens somewhat like Freewaybill explains it, but nothing like the Iraqi Dinar is being pumped by certain people. In fact I am surprised the SEC has not shut it down do to "insider trading" look a likes, by connecting the dinar websites to their advertising the dinar sellers. At best, the SEC should shut down certain sites such as PTR's pay site, they are the worst. By the way, I am a retired securities counselor and have put the best in that field to rest. The only connection the SEC cannot make is, is a currency exchange within their jurisdiction? My answer to that would be NO, because it has value, little risk to no risk and is collaterolized by the CBI itself, which takes the dinar out of the realm of a security within Reeves vs. Earnst and Young, which is the case that distinguished securities from non-securities and its all due to collaterization. In other words if a note is collateroilized it is not a security. In the case of the iraq dinar, it is backed by gold, oil and the GDP of Iraq. This is why the sites and dinar sellers are getting away with it no matter who they hurt, because, are they really hurting anyone, No, they can sell out with a minimal loss or even a profit if they look around, such as Ebay, where in my last calculations the average sell there was around $1600 per million. In my opinion the hurting comes when the dinar is pumped and people without the means buy and let their houses and cars go bye bye. This is where I draw the line and become a basher myself, which I have been banned here once and completely from PTR, where I got in their face about how bad they were pumping this thing. Thanks for the post. I am one of those 7 YEAR investors, so MAYBE that means our time is close, near, soon, any day now, this year, this month, before Thanksgiving, New Years, in my lifetime. Either way, I am in it to the end.

Freeway Bill. Thank you for your positive outlook. It must be a really good feeling to be sitting in a position to accept this excellent reasoning and just wait for the tremendous blessing we will receive at the end of this miraculous opportunity we have been blessed to be a part of.

AJAnderson just posted an alternative story involving first time investors. However, to be real about this they are not "Investors". Many of us were on the edge of financial obliteration when we heard about this "thing" called a dinar. What's a dinar? we asked. Our good friend who told us about this tried to explain. They had been in this investment for a couple years and they assured us that according to all the excellent "intel" they had access to via all the sites available to them, that they were POSITIVE this was going to be completed by the end of 2010. There was no way it could go beyond that. Iraq HAD to complete this by then. This was a solid deadline.

Now we trust our good friend. We know they are aware of the grave situation we are in. They are a good Christian and want nothing but the best for us. They know we are in counceling for our depression and suicidal thoughts. They have given us a light to shine on our darkened life. We started to go on some sites to check on what they had told us. Everywhere we went the "People in the know" unanimously were saying the same thing. Now I'm not an investor. But everything my friend told me, and everything I read about these great minds providing the "intel" made me feel more comfortable in spending money to buy dinar.

Keep in mind I had very little money. I had lost my house. I was now renting and could barely cover my expenses. I was looking at bankruptcy. My salary had dropped 60% in two years. But I scraped up a little money, not paying some bills, for the "assurance" of this new found blessing called a dinar. I purchased 100K dinar. Later, after reading more on the sites and feeling more comfortable that this was sure to happen "One Day", I bought 250K dinar.

The faith I have in my God and His Son Jesus Christ, that this blessing was meant to be, helped me to see past my immediate selfish thinking that suicide would solve MY problems.

So, you see Freeway Bill, not everyone can "understand" waiting. Many of us are so financially in the hole, we CAN'T wait any longer. We are DESPERATE!!! We have to have this now! I am not going to get a paycheck this week. I feel I have been a failure to myself, my wife, and my children. The MAN is supposed to provide for his family. So I really couldn't care less about any "reasons" given for more delays. Like I said at the beginning, I am not an investor in currency. I am a passenger on a sinking ship with no life preservers, wearing a weighted vest with promises that a life boat is coming on Monday, or Tuesday, or Wednesday. It may be too late.

Honestly, God bless you for your dedication to bring as much intel as you can and for trying to keep everything up-beat and positive. GO RV!! Rah!
