Central bank data showed Wednesday that foreign currency sales fell to $ 158.16 million from $ 163.8 million on Tuesday, down $ 5.64 million.

According to central data, the exchange rate was 1190 dinars per dollar, in the auction held with the participation of 29 banks, and one financial transfer company.

The total sales totaled $ 177.34 million, compared with $ 188.44 million in previous transactions, the central bank said.

The volume of funds sold to strengthen bank balances abroad was $ 157.16 million, while total cash sold was only $ 1 million.

The Central Bank, that the sale of amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad at the price of 1190 dinars per dollar, while the cash sale will be at the same price.
